Delivery Information

DELIVERY

All orders received by 12pm (Monday to Friday) will be dispatched within 24 hours for standard 3-5 day delivery. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday's may take slightly longer to arrive, please allow an additional 48 hours.

The delivery rate for all orders will be calculated according to the total weight at the checkout.

Orders outside UK mainland will be subject to appropriate carriage charges and must be placed by telephone.

Damaged and/or missing items must be reported to us within 48 hours. 

Delivery requests for Saturdays (by telephone only) must be placed by 5pm on the Wednesday prior to the delivery date and delivery can be anytime from 7am till 1pm typically.

Unfortunately we don’t delivery on bank holidays or Sundays.

You must be aged 18 or older to buy alcohol. By placing an order with us online you are confirming you are aged 18 or older. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.

If you are buying alcohol for someone else the recipient must also be aged 18 or older.

Deliveries must be signed for by a person aged 18 or older. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.

Orders for caviar will arrive via separate shipment by refridgerated overnight carriage if ordered between Monday and Thursday.  Orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be despatched on the Monday and arrive on the following Tuesday.

Some items are supplied directly from those we work with so may arrive via separate shipment.  Every effort is made to get your parcel to you within stated delivery times but we cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our control although we will do what we can to help in such circumstances.

Zone 1. British Mainland (Except Inverness, Outer Hebrides, Kilmarnock, Kirkwall, Paisley PA0-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, Lerwick)

Delivery charges will calculated automatically at checkout.

Zone 2. Outside British Mainland, Channel Islands, Inverness, Outer Hebrides, Kilmarnock, Kirkwall, Paisley PA0-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, Lerwick

Orders MUST be placed by telephone (+44 0161 241 2791) and delivery will be advised.

Europe & Worldwide. We welcome orders from European & Worldwide destinations. All orders must be placed by telephone by calling us on +44 (0)161 241 2791.

 


RETURNS

We recommend that you check all Products when you receive them. If the Products are damaged or incorrectly supplied on delivery you must note the details of damage or incorrect supply on the delivery documentation. If you are unable to view the Products upon delivery you must do so without delay and no later than 24 hours. You must then contact us and follow our policy for returns, then return the Products immediately.  Handmade Products may vary in colour, size, shape and texture.  These alone will not be reason for return.

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession and during transit. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage during transit. If returned Products are lost or damaged in transit, we reserve the right to charge you (or not refund any amounts attributable to) such loss or damage.

In the case of damaged or incorrectly supplied Products, we may offer you a replacement Product.  Any refunds will be made to the debit/credit card account provided when placing your order and will be subject to our right to withhold amounts for Products which are damaged on return. 

We work diligently hard to ensure the quality of your order when it is despatched.  If you are unsatisfied with your item/s when they arrive, you must report it to us within 48 hours and, in accordance with our terms, we will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot accept returns on food and beverage Products except in the event of unsatisfactory goods, such as damaged Products. This does not effect your statutory rights.

Please note that returns will be at your own expense. The Home & Fine Food Co. does not accept liability for the cost of returns.
